Sizing and Care

SOWN garments are made to be worn by any body, size or gender - wear them your way - body-skimming, oversize and baggy or anywhere in between.

All cuffs are made to be rolled up as much as required to show off the beautiful lining.

As a rough guide, we have broken them down into the three sizes below.

Each jacket has flat measurements included with the description. Double the flat pit to pit measurement, make sure that figure is at least 4" / 10cm more than your chest measurement (for ease of wear), and that will give you an idea of how it will fit you.

All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of these unique garments and their history. All materials are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast and we cannot guarantee the exact fabric composition because the fabric is vintage, therefore we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean, using an eco-friendly service wherever possible.
