Blue 'Log Cabin' Variation Wall Hanging

Quilted wall hanging using a variation of the 'Log Cabin' quilt block design. The fabrics used include Indonesian print, Japanese indigo woven stripe, vintage bed linens and Indian print cotton. The quilt has 50% wool 50% cotton wadding and the reverse side is onion skin-dyed brushed cotton. Hand finished with sashiko stitching and bound edges.

All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of this unique quilt and its history. Fabrics are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast so we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean.
