Folk Art Small Quilt / Quilted Wall Hanging

Small quilt / quilted wall hanging with appliqués. The cotton fabrics used include a floral folk art print Harriet designed for Steven Alan NY, calico and remnants. The appliqués are based on the shapes in the folk art print. The quilt has 50% wool 50% cotton wadding and the reverse side is vintage Liberty print tana lawn. Hand finished with stitching and bound edges.

All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of this unique quilt and its history. Fabrics are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast so we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean.
