Ford French Small Quilt / Wall Hanging

Small quilt / quilted wall hanging. The fabrics used were from a collection of vintage French cottons including woven stripes, printed florals, woven checks and printed toile du jouy. The quilt has 50% wool 50% cotton wadding and the reverse side is vintage woven cotton. Hand finished with sashiko stitching and egg-yolk yellow bound edges.

All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of this unique quilt and its history. Fabrics are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast so we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean.
