Heirloom Wastecoat

Heirloom Wastecoat (not waistcoat!) made from a selection of vintage materials. This is what we do with all those tiny scraps which can’t be used otherwise. Based on traditional folk and Morris costume, this Wastecoat includes any number of vintage fabrics, off-cuts from Faith Rowan Leeves and more. The garment is quilted with 50% wool 50% cotton wadding and lined in green cotton. Hand finished with sashiko stitching and bound edges.

All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of this unique garment and its history. Fabrics are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast so we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean.
