'Log Cabin' Variation Quilted Cushion Cover

Quilted cushion cover using a variation of the 'Log Cabin' quilt block design. The cotton fabrics used include Indian woven stripes, printed florals, Indonesian print, Batik dyed, Moroccan woven stripes, vintage French toile du jouy, 1980s graphic print pillowcase and Gambian wax-resist dyed damask. The cushion cover is quilted with 50% wool 50% cotton wadding and lined with avocado-dyed brushed cotton. The reverse side is made from a vintage Laura Ashley shamrock print. Hand finished with sashiko stitching and bound edges.

All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of this unique cushion and its history. Fabrics are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast so we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean.
