'Pinwheel' Variation Wall Hanging

Quilted wall hanging using a variation of the 'Pinwheel' quilt block design. The fabrics used include a vintage mid-century Scandinavian print, vegetable-dyed calico, vintage ditsy floral and African wax print. The quilt has 50% wool 50% cotton wadding and the reverse side is vintage floral print cotton. Hand finished with sashiko stitching and bound edges.

All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of this unique wall hanging and its history. Fabrics are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast so we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean.
