Raglan Sleeve Heirloom Jacket - Ford French

Raglan Sleeve Heirloom Jacket made mainly from vintage French cottons and linens. This beautiful material was found at a car boot sale, the seller had bought it in France and used some for craft projects - hence there being lots of very small pieces which have been lovingly patchworked together. Some of the mending from the original use is incorporated into the sleeve. The jacket is quilted with 50% wool 50% cotton wadding and lined in green cotton. Fully reversible - two jackets in one. Hand finished with sashiko stitching and bound edges.

All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of this unique garment and its history. Fabrics are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast so we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean.
