Raglan Sleeve Heirloom Jacket - Hexagon
Raglan Sleeve Heirloom Jacket - Hexagon
Raglan Sleeve Heirloom Jacket made mainly from vintage hand-cut and stitched patchwork and vintage French ticking. This beautiful hexagon patchwork material was part of a small pillowcase - the original checked lining has been retained, creating the zig zag hemline. The jacket is quilted with 50% wool 50% cotton wadding. Fully reversible - two jackets in one. Hand finished with sashiko stitching bound edges.
All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of this unique garment and its history. Fabrics are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast so we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean.
