'Texas Star' Variation Quilt

Quilt using a variation of the 'Texas Star' quilt block design with appliqués. The fabrics used include a vintage mid-century Scandinavian print, vintage ditsy floral, French woven stripes, avocado-dyed calico and remnants. The appliqués are based on the mid-century pattern. The quilt has 50% wool 50% cotton wadding and the reverse side is Liberty print tana lawn and African wax print cotton. Hand finished with stitching and bound edges.

All wear, tear and idiosyncrasies are part of this unique quilt and its history. Fabrics are washed before sewing but some dyes may not be completely colour fast so we recommend hand wash cold or dry clean.
